Fiesta ochentera con Tenessee en la Sala Matisse de Valencia

Como ya sabeis, la Sala Matisse es un conocido local en Valencia, presidido por dos barras curvas en la que impera el rojo, en homenaje al gran pintor del color. Sorprende porque tiene un público muy ecléctico, de casi todas las edades, y por la variedad de actuaciones a lo largo de la semana: soul, blues, músicas del mundo y, como no, pop-rock de grupos emergentes. Tras los conciertos, a la 1 de la madrugada, el local se llena para bailar la música de muy buena calidad. Matisse también ofrece exposiciones de cuadros, tertulias de viajeros y literarias, fiestas solidarias y un circuito de café teatro los martes, manteniendo una línea envidiable de compromiso sociocultural.

Para los que estais pensando lo que hacer el fin de semana, os diremos que podeis hacer un viaje en el tiempo con el grupo Tenessee. Lo que empezó siendo un juego de niños allá por el año 80, se convirtió poco a poco en una carrera plagada de éxitos y de discos de platino. La historia de Tennessee es un tanto curiosa; cuatro amigos del colegio que unidos por la afición y el amor a la música se divertían jugando con sus voces versionando clásicos de todos los tiempos.

Tennessee se ha consolidado a lo largo del tiempo, publicando hasta la fecha mas de 14 discos y vendiendo más de un millón y medio de copias., pero si hay una diferencia entre Tennessee y los demás grupos han sido sin duda sus voces, en todos los trabajos discográficos han incluido al menos una capella y eso se ha convertido casi en su seña de identidad, consiguiendo con ello numerosos premios y reconocimientos nacionales e internacionales.

¿Quién no se acuerda de TE VI CORRER, RAMALAMA DING DONG, SIEMPRE LUCHARÉ POR TU AMOR, LLUEVE EN MI CORAZÓN?…… y tantas otras canciones. Pues bien, después de un paréntesis dedicados al teatro, protagonizando musicales de gran éxito, vuelven a los escenarios que les vieron crecer como grupo.
